ABUJA - Funmi Olushola, a leader of tomorrow, says she has informed the incumbent leader about her desire to become a leader now as she has grown impatient.

Olushola spoke with statehouse correspondents on Thursday after a meeting with Mr. President at the presidential villa.

The leader of tomorrow, who has been told at every point in her life she was a leader of tomorrow, however said she has gotten tired of waiting.

“Since the moment I knew my left from my right, I’ve been told that I was a leader of tomorrow. It has been over 20 years now and I’m still not a leader. I’m tired of waiting,” she said.

“I want to become a leader now. I’ve grown impatient and want to sit on the seat of a leader.”

On speculations that the older leaders of tomorrow would also want the seat, Olushola said she would rather not discuss any individual.
