Android P may Launch on August 20 According to Leaks

The long wait for Android P may finally come to an end. Yesterday, notorious leaker Evan Blass (aka @EVLeaks) tweeted out an image of a calendar with a “P” logo on the date of August 20, 2018. In other words, it seems that the rumored Android P launch date is now August 20, a little more than two weeks away.

See the tweet below:

However, this is not an official announcement of the Android P launch date and thus should be taken as rumor only for now.

Android P will be the ninth version of the world’s most popular mobile operating system. Although we don’t know what “flavor” Android 9.0 will receive, popular contenders so far are Peppermint, Popsicle, Pancake, and Pie.

Unlike previous Android versions, Google made beta testing for Android 9.0 available to non-Pixel/Nexus phones like the OnePlus 6, the Essential Phone, and the Sony Xperia XZ2.
